Michael Tilson Thomas brings his 2011-2012 concerts with the San Francisco Symphony to a close with performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 at Davies Symphony Hall (June 27, 28, 29, 30). The program also includes Schoenberg’s A Survivor from Warsaw, Op. 46, written in memory of Holocaust victims. Shuler Hensley will narrate. Soloists Erin Wall, Kendall Gladen, William Burden and Nathan Berg join MTT, the Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus on stage.
