Beethoven, Mozart, Copland & Mackey with San Francisco Symphony

In advance of their tour to New York, Illinois and Michigan, Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony present a program of Austrian and American works at Davies Symphony HallNovember 7 to 10. The concerts open with Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, followed by Steven Mackey’s Eating Greens. American pianist Jeremy Denk, who last season appeared with the SFS for the American Mavericks Festival, then joins MTT and the Orchestra for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 25. MTT closes the concerts with Copland’s Symphonic Ode.
