Carnegie Hall & Kennedy Center concerts, led by MTT, cap off New World Symphony’s 2014/15 performance season

Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy, in concerts in Miami Beach, New York and Washington D.C. as the ensemble caps off its 2014/15 performance season. Violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter guests with MTT and the NWS fellows​ in two performances in Miami Beach (April 25 & 26) and on tour to New York’s Carnegie Hall (April 28) and Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (April 29​​).

The program includes Schubert’ Incidental Music to Rosamunde, Berg’s Violin Concerto, Moret’s En rêve–a Concerto for Violin and Chamber Orchestra–and Debussy’s La Mer.
