On October 23, the New World Symphony and Michael Tilson Thomas, Co-founder and Artistic Director, gather for an online Flute Forum. Among those attending will be NWS Flute Fellows and Alumni with their students, visiting flute faculty and their pupils, and others interested in the flute nationwide. The Forum presents the opportunity for all to connect and explore topics related to the flute.

The event will commence with a flute master class with three performers in different locations – one from the New World Center, one from the Berklee College of Music, and one from Northwestern’s Bienen School of Music. Following the master class, the event will open up for discussion and audience-sourced questions.
