This May, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the San Francisco Symphony in performances at Davies Symphony Hall, following their ten-day US tour in March.

MTT first leads the orchestra in works by Debussy and Ligeti from May 9-11. Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard joins them onstage for Ligeti’s Piano Concerto.

From May 16-18, MTT and the SFS perform Mahler’s Seventh Symphony, a work for which they won two Grammy Awards for their recording on SFS Media. You can listen to the recording here.
