MTT leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with Emanuel Ax

From March 17 to 20, 2016 Michael Tilson Thomas returns to conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Stravinsky’s Scherzo à la russe, Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 with pianist Emanuel Ax.
MTT and Ax have recorded Beethoven’s Third and Fourth Piano Concerti with the San Francisco Symphony on the SFS Media label.
The performances at Chicago Symphony Center mark MTT’s return to the concert stage in 2016.
