MTT, SFS & Metallica to open San Francisco’s new Chase Center

On September 6, 2019, MTT joins the San Francisco Symphony and conductor Edwin Outwater as they, with Metallica, open the new Chase Center in San Francisco.
The concert marks the 20th anniversary of the Grammy-winning collaboration S&M (Symphony and Metallica), performed by the SFS and conductor Michael Kamen.
The press announcement on March 18 featured MTT as speaker alongside Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob, Warriors President and COO Rick Welts, San Francisco Mayor London Breed, and Metallica members Lars Ulrich and James Hatfield.
