This August, Michael Tilson Thomas makes two appearances at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland.

August 3 sees MTT lead the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra in John Cage’s The Seasons, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 and – with violinist Christian Tetzlaff – Ligeti’s Concerto for Violin & Orchestra.

MTT takes the podium to conduct the Verbier Festival Orchestra on August 7, performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with guest soloist Natalie Stutzmann.
