From March 1 to 4, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas leads the San Francisco Symphony in the music of Shostakovich, Gnesin, and Tchaikovsky.

The concerts at Davies Symphony Hall spotlight Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto with featured soloist Gautier Capuçon, Gnesin’s The Jewish Orchestra at the Ball of Nothingtown, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, “Pathétique.”
