Michael Tilson Thomas continues his Midwest performances this month as he returns to conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in concerts fromNovember 21 to 24. Mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor joins MTT and the CSO for Igor Stravinsky’s Elegy for JFK, a setting of specially commissioned poetry by W.H. Auden. MTT then leads the Orchestra in Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.
