This June, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the San Francisco Symphony and the SFS Chorus in Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 8, the “Symphony of a Thousand.” MTT concludes his 25-year tenure with the orchestra by leading one of the largest-scale pieces in the orchestral repertoire.
