This November, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas joins the San Francisco Symphony for a series of concerts celebrating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The November 15-18 concerts hear From the Diary of Anne Frank – a piece written by MTT for UNICEF in 1990 – paired with Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony.

MTT leads the SFS in Berg’s Seven Early Songs and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony from November 23-25. They are joined onstage by soprano Susanna Phillips, mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor, tenor Nicholas Phan, bass-baritone Davóne Tines, and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
