On October 15 Michael Tilson Thomas returns to Miami to helm the orchestra he helped create, leading the New World Symphony in its “Opening Fanfare” program. This concert also marks the beginning of the orchestra’s first full season in its new home, the Frank Gehry designed, state of the art New World Center.

Michael Tilson Thomas returns to the London Symphony Orchestra, where he was Music Director for eight years and currently holds the position of Principal Guest Conductor, for six concerts in the first half of 2012. His first four concerts of the season explore the works of the French impressionist composer Claude Debussy.
