This spring, Michael Tilson Thomas returns to Carnegie Hall to continue his 2018-19 Perspectives Series. He is joined by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra for two performances.

On March 5, MTT and the orchestra perform Ives’ Decoration Day and Brahms’s Second Symphony. Pianist Igor Levit is featured soloist in Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto.

The next day, MTT leads an evening of Mahler’s Ninth – the composer’s final completed symphony.
